Love how accurate the creeper faces are.
Textures simulated using multiple CSS box-shadow?? Wow, very well imagined, if a bit convoluted. How about going with a base64-embedded tiny image (or canvas) and texture applied as background-image through toDataURL()?? Should be shorter, and with a canvas you can even animate the creepers
